Owned by Egidio Marino, a seasoned veteran with over 40 years of experience in the industry, Nonno Trattoria is a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to bringing the finest Italian flavours to the local community.
Egidio’s journey began in 1980 when he opened his first restaurant, ‘Don Giovanni,’ on Addington Road. It was here that he rapidly established a loyal clientele who continue to follow his culinary journey to this day. Egidio has also owned and operated several well-known local Italian restaurants, such as Zi Teresa in Beckenham and Gi in West Wickham.

Hailing from the beautiful region of Calabria in Southern Italy, Egilio’s family heritage is woven into every aspect of Nonno Trattoria. He works closely with his son, Giovanni, who owns the successful Primo cafés in West Wickham and Orpington, ensuring that the family’s passion for Italian cuisine is passed down through generations.
Our team is comprised of seasoned professionals who share a deep reverence for Italian culinary traditions. Guiseppe, our head chef, brings over 30 years of experience from Italian kitchens, meticulously crafting each dish with the utmost care and authenticity. Luigi, our esteemed restaurant manager, boasts over 40 years in the industry, ensuring that every guest receives a warm and memorable dining experience.
